    2009 Events

    Briefing Night

The briefing will be held at the Salt House Restaurant in the Marlin Marina Precinct. Please be on time and remember finger food only will be provided. There will be a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival for the ladies. Other drinks are available for purchase from the Bar.

    Fishing Day and Weigh In

    Sailpast

The Sailpast will begin at 7am. All boats are to be out of the Marina by 6.45am. This will allow the helicopter and film crew enough time to get some great footage. The sailpast will not start until all boats have vacated the marina, as starting before this does not allow boats to exit the Marina.

    Weigh In

Once again Ribbons will be having a Sausage Sizzle with drinks at the Weigh In, thanks to Campbell's IGA. This will be your opportunity to share some tales from the seas as well as check out all the amazing catches of the day. The Weigh In will be held on the grassy area outside the Salt House - where the Tournament Briefing will be held.

    Gala Presentation Night

In 2009 Ribbons will be holding the gala presentation dinner in the Grand Ballroom at the Hilton Hotel, Cairns. Pre-Dinner drinks are available from the bar and begin at 6pm. Dinner and the Awards presentation will begin at 7.00pm. You tickets are in your team bag.
